Vandana Jain's solo exhibiton at Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center presents her new project, Valorization, a diptych consiting of a 4 x 10' tapestry made of appliqued wool felt and an embroidered dollar bill. Additonally, she developed a new tape work, Quid Pro Quo, specifically for the site. This exhibtion is also the first showcase Pyramid Scheme, an installation of plastic bones hung from gold chains. The gallery generously produced "I got my eye on (ur) prize," a giveaway available for the run of the show as well as a brochure, available to download here.
